Charlotte Gainsbourg - The Prodigal Daughter

Charlotte talks about her new album.

Featured Artists: Air  Charlotte Gainsbourg  The Divine Comedy  Jarvis Cocker

Serge Gainsbourg - the man was a legend. He introduced sex to Britain in the form of the '69 (oo-er, even the year was dirty) number one single 'Je T'aime...Moi Non Plus', he told Whitney Houston he wanted to fuck her on live French TV and he even convinced renowned sex kitten Brigitte Bardot to cavort around singing 'Shebang, Pow, Plop, Whizz' on their 'Comic Strip' duet. Then he died in 1991 and we thought we'd never see his like again.

Well, we won't, but at least we have his daughter Charlotte Gainsbourg and her ace debut album '5:55' on which she worked with Nigel Godrich, Air, Jarvis Cocker and Neil Hannon.

In fact, why not let Charlotte tell you all about it herself in this streamed interview with anecdotes and clips from the album?
