According to the Belle and Sebastian website, tiny Scottish label
Electric Honey (the in-house imprint of Glasgow's Stow College) will release a compilation of Scottish indie / twee music this May.
The collection named 'Thank You For Being You' (after a Pastels song) will feature a track from Belle & Sebastian's 'Tigermilk' which was originally released on a very limited run by the label.
Also featured on the comp are tunes by The Pastels, Teenage Fanclub, The Delgados, Josef K, Fire Engines, King Creosote, Future Pilot AKA and more. It will also include several bands from the current label roster - the label famously offers a contract to one new college act every year).

The Tindersticks' Stuart Staples and Dave Boulter have gathered an all-star cast for a new compilation entitled 'Songs for the Young at Heart'. Despite the title we can assure you there is no spot for The Bluebells' classic.
Joining them on this collection of children's songs and stories are Jarvis Cocker, Cerys Matthews, Bonnie 'Prince' Billy, Belle and Sebastian's Stuart Murdoch and Lambchop's Kurt Wagner.
The compilation will be out some time in the new year and follows hot on the heels of the recent, yet more commercial, 'Colours are Brighter' kids indie compilation.
Tracklisting:
'Theme for the Young at Heart'
Robert Foster - 'Uncle Sigmund's Clockwork Storybook'
Stuart Murdoch - 'Florence's Sad Song'
Cerys Matthews - 'White Horses'
Jarvis Cocker - 'The Lion and Albert'
'Robinson Crusoe'
Stuart Staples - 'Hushabye Mountain'
Suzanne Osborne - 'Morningtown Ride'
Kurt Wagner - 'Inch Worm'
'Mary, Mungo and Midge'
Martin Wallace - 'The Three Sneezes'
Bonnie 'Prince' Billy & Red - 'Puff the Magic Dragon'
Stuart Staples - 'Hey, Don't You Cry'

Fans of Belle and Sebastian can be obsessive and they will no doubt eat up this fourteen track collection of BBC recordings that cover the period 1996 to 2001. Fans will love new versions of favourites `Shoot the Sexual Athlete` , `Nothing in the Silence`, the wonderful `Lazy Line Painter Jane`, and two of my favorite tracks `Judy and The Dream Of Horses` and `The Stars of Track and Field`.
At the time the group rarely performed live, so these songs are noticeably different from their studio counterparts. The track selection is also so good that this CD could almost be a best-of album. The limited, deluxe double CD also contains a bonus disc of live recordings of a Belfast show. If you have never heard Belle & Sebastian then this is a great introduction to the band. If you are already a fan, then...well... it`s just really nice to have.
