After over four years of tirelessly providing you with up to date music news, reviews, views and eschews, Culturedeluxe.com decided to call it a day as a music site in October 2009.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has passed by this site over the years, to everyone who has contributed words, photographs or feedback and to the collective fans of Kharma 45 and The Foxes for growing a sense of humour...or, failing that, a sense of reality - you have by now, haven't you?

Culturedeluxe Records was born in 2007 as a natural progression of the good-times bootleg brand Prank Monkey. A label which delighted DJs, Radio 1 listeners and everyday punters with the irreverent sound of pop from the amazing 'Whistler's Delight' by DJ Riko (making the 2005 Radio 1 Festive 50) to the audacious 'London Booted' which offered nineteen very different takes on The Clash's 'London Calling' and received approval from none other than Mick Jones. Now the label has joined forces with the Culturedeluxe website to give a voice to some of the world's best new music.
