The band’s driving duo, Tim McIver and Rebecca Palin, have just announced a solo project under the guise of Golden Fable. With a home recorded and produced album set for release early next year, Golden Fable are whetting your appetites by serving up double A-side single The Chill Pt. 2 / The Golden Hour as a free download prior to its release proper on November 7th. If you like what you hear you’d better think fast as that physical release is a super limited run of hand-made gold leaf embossed CDs. Just 200 copies, number fans.
With a sound that leans even further towards those Album Leaf tendencies that Life Stream hinted at, complete with laptop beats and washed out synths, Golden Fable could be one to keep an eye on.
